EMMS Spirit Weeks and Parade

Spirit Weeks: Monday, 12 April marks the beginning of our Spirit Weeks with dress up days as part of the EMMS Purple Up Event. Please see the flyer below to plan your wardrobe!

Heroes Parade: Please join us as we celebrate all our heroes! As part of the EMMS Purple Up event, there will be a Heroes Parade on both April 20th (B-Day) and April 21st (A-Day) at 1:15 pm on both days. Those families whose students are 100% distance learning are welcome to participate on either day. The parade will be part of student pick-up and all families are invited.

Consider decorating your cars or making signs to celebrate your heroes which may include military members, first responders, essential workers, or anyone else that is a hero to you. Don't forget your teachers or favorite staff member! EMMS teachers and staff will line the "parade route" dressed in purple and maybe even a cape or two to wave and hold up signs as you drive by. Families will line up for student pick-up at the same time as usual. The "parade route" is the same as student pick-up and will begin as you enter Gate #1 and will end as you exit Gate #2. Feel free to circle through a second time after picking up your student so they may enjoy the full parade. Please see the flyer below for the "parade route."

EMMS teachers and staff are excited to celebrate our students, families, and all our heroes! Can you feel gratitude and love!?! If you have any questions, please e-mail lolita.ayala@k12.hi.us or erynn.tait@k12.hi.us.

Mahalo for your enthusiasm!
