Freshman Success Academy
The Freshman Success Academy provides the foundation and support for students to successfully complete high school, pursue post-secondary opportunities, and become leaders in their communities.
The Freshman Success Academy student will successfully transition into high school, hone their foundational skills to be college and career ready, and to explore future careers.
Academy of Business, Agricultural Sciences & International Baccalaureate
The Academies of James Campbell High School Mission: Academy of Business, Agricultural Sciences, and International Baccalaureate provides authentic learning environments with experiences and opportunities that develop the skills, habits and dispositions fo our students to be productive, lifelong learners and environmentally conscious global citizens.

Academy of Creative Media

AVID
The Challenge
Closing the achievement gap and increasing the college-going rate for students from low-income and minority families is a significant policy dilemma.
The Solution
AVID is designed to increase the number of students who enroll in four-year colleges. Although AVID serves all students, it focuses on the least served students in the academic middle. The formula is simple — raise expectations of students and, with the AVID support system in place, they will rise to the challenge.
How it Works
AVID students enroll in high-rigor courses, such as Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate, and receive support in an academic elective class—called AVID—taught within the school day by a trained AVID teacher.
