Community Eligibility Provision Application Deadline

The Hawaii State Department of Education (HIDOE) has expanded a U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) program to allow all students at those schools to receive free meal service. The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) allows a school district, a group of schools or a single school to serve free meals to everyone even if they do not qualify for the free or reduced-price lunch reimbursement.

If you qualify for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and/or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) but have not already filled in your applications, please submit them by April 1, 2021.
